My first Architectural Model

I recently started gathering digital images of my architectual models. I am very happy to share with you my first model I built.
Minimum dweling:
The project was to design a studio appartment within the minimun living requirements. All limitations where applied, the smallest living dimentions,
number of windows as well as sealing hights.

Pavilion Design 06

A Courtyard Pavillion for the display of 2D and 3D of art work. This project was much exiting and helped me focus on the structure, and program of buildings.

Marine Project

The design of an educational building to bring a connection between the Boston water front with the South Boston Community. My main purpose was to create an entroduction to the sea within the program that would encourage the relationship between people and the water. As well as exposing the public to Harvour walk and to increase their interest in many activities and educational opportunities within the design.

Metal Design

So, in this project I was a designer, coming into a "client's" place, studying it, and understanding their environment. Our purpose with this project was to improve an aspect of the clients living space, but it also had to be functional. Of course there were a lot more steps within the process, but the main Idea is the final work.

What is it?
It is a shelf design for photos.

What is it made of?
Metal and Plexiglas

What is the purpose?
To hold the Client's scrap book pages, and picture frames.

So what about it?
Well the metal is shaped in the form of film or something we recognize as negatives. The top of the shelf is Plexiglas allowing the lighting from the inside to shine up and out stand the pictures in top of shelf. The light also shines down upon the bed for night time reading.
